Hoope Dance Class at the Merc and Another Idea

Sorry to post this at the last minute for those who might be interested, but I actually found a hoop class in Denver that is being held at the Mercury Cafe downtown. I found a certified Hoop Dance teacher. Details below:

Class runs 5:30 - 6:30 and is a 6 week session but drop ins are also welcome.

6 sessions payed in full: $90
drop in $17

This is a beginning level class but even experienced hoopers can gain a greater understanding of hooping, multidimensional tricks, and dance expression in the hoop and it's a lot of fun! Check out my website for more details and other upcoming classes

My other idea, is that since the Mercury has a large upstairs dance floor, that they might, for a reasonable price, let us use it sometimes to get together and hoop in the winter

The class was really great - may be somewhat basic for some, but I learned a few more things about core hooping and how to incorporate some cool dance moves. She will be extending this class after six weeks to the intermediate level.

It was a great workout as well.

Hi, I'm from LA but am going to Colorado Dec 22- Jan 7. I want to hoop in Denver! I'll be staying in Fort Collins but will be going to Denver several times. Anything cool going on or any classes taking place?

Hi Sunnie,

There is a hoop class on Monday night (Dec.22) at the Mercury Cafe in Denver. It is the last class of this series and is also the "Holiday Hoop Party". Everyone is welcome to come! The price is lowered for the partay... $10/person. It's still going to be a class with new moves, but it will be fun and festive too!

It would be great to see you (and all you other hoopers out there) at the hoop class. All experience levels welcome. Hoops are provided, but if you have one - bring it along. Hope to see you Monday. Welcome to CO :)

As an update on the class, I got through the Level I series and I learned a LOT of cool stuff. Challenging for me and good energy to look forward to every week.
